Honjo Life Safety Learning Center

We visited the Life Safety Learning Centre in Tokyo.

It is an experimental facility designed to help visitors acquire disaster preparedness knowledge and techniques while enjoying themselves as they take part in earthquake simulations, initial firefighting and emergency first aid exercises.

It was a good opportunity to learn about the threat of disasters such as earthquake, fire and flood.

There is a saying “備えあれば憂いなし(Sonaeareba Ureinashi)” meaning “If you well-prepared, you don’t have to worry”.

Don’t forget what you learned at the center to prepare well whenever a disaster happens.
