The Great East Japan Earthquake, which occurred at 14:46 on 11th March, 2011, is the biggest earthquake ever happened in Japan.

The Tsunami caused by the earthquake and the nuclear accident happened in Fukushima inflicted a catastrophic damage to “Tohoku”(the northeastern area) of Japan.

It has already been 10 years since the day.

We could not help turning away from the horrible scene of disaster-hit areas, but people living there are still working together toward reconstruction and revitalization.

We also should prepare well for a disaster to reduce fear and anxiety!

 

By the way, Reconstruction Agency provides a plenty of information regarding Tohoku, the current status of reconstruction and challenges.
