Today’s One Frame -Intermediate 3 Level –

Students (Intermediate 3 class) made a presentation on old tales.
One of the groups referred to 「愚公山を移す（※）」, a Chinese old tale. This proverb means “If you work hard, you can achieve anything difficult”.
Learning Japanese is the same. If you keep studying hard, you will achieve a good result!

※A Foolish Old Man of 90 years who lived near a pair of two mountains. He was annoyed by the obstruction caused by the mountains and started to dig through them with hoes and baskets. He believed that through the hard work of his children, their children and the many generations, the mountains would be removed some day even if he may not finish the task in his lifetime. The gods in heaven, impressed with his hard work and perseverance, ordered the mountains separated.
