Speech Contest 2023

The other day, we held a speech contest at a large hall for the first time in 3 years.

Students in intermediate classes gave their speech in the first half of the contest. It seems that they were very nervous because they have few opportunities to give a speech in Japanese in front of such a large audience.

　

　

　

They talked about their feeling toward Japan, including the difference of culture and the difficulty they have experienced.

 

In the second half of the contest, students in advanced classes gave more unique and persuasive speech using their rich vocabulary.

　

　

During the time of judges, a Chinese student sang a Japanese song, whereas three Sri Lankan students sang a popular love song in their home country, which moved the whole audience….
