Mt.Fuji, known as the highest mountain in Japan, was added to the World Heritage List in 2013.
It stands 3,776 meters tall. At the summit, the temperature is low (approx 6℃) enough to have snowfall even in the summertime. Although climbing Mt.Fuji is only permitted from early July to mid-September, as many as 300,000 climbers aim for the summit every year.
