When do you speak in a dialect?

Students in advanced level class asked teachers about “loan words” and “dialects”.

 

I heard some sharp questions from the students.

“What kind of loan words do you use?”

“When do you use loan words?”

“What do you think is the advantage of using loan words?”

　

 

On the other hand, another group seemed to have some discussion about the topic with the teacher.

“What is the difference between dialects and how people in Tokyo speak?”

“Do you have any chance to speak in a dialect?”

“How about the dialects in China?”

 

Based on the interview, students are going to write a report on the topic.
