Q.Why did you take many different university exams?

I wanted to know the difference of private and public universities.

 

Q.How do you feel about the exams?

Tsukuba University assigned a writing exam, for which I had to spare more time to prepare.

 

Q.Which university’s exams were the most impressive for you?

I passed 4 different faculties in Keio University, and each faculty assigned different exams, which I think is very interesting.

Professors who I met are all very kind, students must not be afraid of interview exams.

 

Q.How were YIEA teacher’s support helpful for exams?

Teachers gave each student a chance to answer a question during the class, I could speak Japanese with confidence. Even though I made a grammatical mistake, they helped me correct it.

 

I think I did well in the interviews, but sometimes I was not confident in my Japanese accuracy. So it is recommended that you should ask your teacher for mock interview practice. If you write a Statement of Purpose, you should receive feedback from your teacher.

 

Q.What is your best memory in YIEA？

① I delivered my speech in front of the large audience for the first time. Although I was very nervous, I enjoyed the contest thanks to teachers.

②This school’s curriculum is well organized and I learned a lot through various debate motions concerning recent social issues.
