I had a nice day off in Shinjuku.

This post is by a new student who came to Japan in January 2021.

Due to the current situation of the pandemic, students still have to learn Japanese via Zoom and avoid a crowd of people when they go out. But it seems that they are getting used to life in Japan little by little.

I had a nice day off in Shinjuku.

 

I visited Shinjuku to see a movie last weekend.

I was astonished to see the “Godzilla” on the top of the building.

Even seen from a distance, it was highly conspicuous.

 

 

 

After seeing the movie, I enjoyed having Italian cuisine with my friends and venison, meat of deer was particularly delicious. Not only did we enjoy the dishes we also met a nice Korean clerk at the restaurant.

 

 

 

 

We stopped by Shinjuku Golden Gai, where many actors and celebrities were said to come for a drink. Probably because of the COVID-19, the area was very quiet.

 

 

 

 

When I go out with my friends, I will always be careful to prevent infection of the virus.

I hope we will see the pandemic end as soon as possible.
